Baja Ontario was founded by a diverse group of professionals, all from different industries, with a shared desire to see cannabis done RIGHT in Minnesota.
In a new market, there will inevitably be fly-by-night products and opportunists. Our mission is to introduce Minnesotans to quality cannabis products and a consistently delightful experience, from purchase to happy hour. The new MN cannabis policy is an opportunity for all of us to have a pleasant, safe way to relax after a hard day or week of work. Our hope is to make that experience as seamless, fun, and carefree as possible.

We work exclusively with best Minnesota-based businesses to make sure our edibles contain the highest quality ingredients and provide a quality high. Our gummies are vegan and made from all natural ingredients, our gourmet chocolate has high quality freeze dried organic fruit, and we only source from reputable cannabis providers. Shubham Teotia has a Masters in Computer Science from St. Cloud State, and is a principal software engineer for an award-winning logistics company.

Drake is a meditation teacher, life coach, stress reduction consultant and public speaker. Using a blend of ancient and modern tools and simple practices, Drake teaches his clients to ground themselves in their deeper power and subtler awareness, allowing clarity, resilience, and kindness to flower.
Meg Jenson
Co-Founder, VP Digital Branding Strategy
Meg Jenson is a Graphic Designer, Illustrator and Multi-Media Creative with a distinct voice and affinity for image-making, primarily with illustration and collage. She loves helping to bring brand personalities and systems to life.
Lonnie McQuirter
Co-Founder, Chief Operations Officer
Lonnie McQuirter’s retail business was named one of the 50 fastest growing businesses in 2018. He is the former chair of the Minnesota Retailers Association, and sits on the board of the National Association of Convenience Stores.
Justin Baker
Co-Founder, Chief Creative Officer
Justin Baker is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Minnesota, studying education design. He has worked in advertising in both agency and freelance capacities, and is the founder of Mindful Power.
ALEC SAWYER

Alec Sawyer is a technical design director in consumer packaging design and production. He has worked with some of the largest consumer brands in the world.
